Ernest Ming (CEO & Co-founder)

Ernest is the co-founder of Eco-Nutrient Biotechnology Company Limited and Little Fat Worm Biotechnology Company Limited. He is a serial entrepreneur, inventor, guest speaker and advocate on waste management and sustainable development. He founded the idea of utilizing insects to valorize organic waste together with Kevin in 2015 and has since participated in some of the most well-known accelerators and competitions in Hong Kong and Europe such as SOW Asia i2i Environmental Cohort (2016), FEDEX Small Business Grant (Top 10 Finalist) and ISC3 (Start-up of the month – July 2020). He holds a co-patent with the City University of Hong Kong and has led Little Fat Worm Biotechnology to register numerous patents in P.R.China.

Kevin Lai (Co-founder)

Kevin is a veteran profession with over 30 years of waste – related experience in China and Asia and has been a pioneer and instrumental in some of China’s most innovative waste projects, working for and with one of the world’s largest waste management company. He leads the strategy arm of the business, utilizing his vast knowledge and network bank.

Aside from the co-founders, Little Fat Worm Biotechnology is managed by a team with over 40 years of combined international management, waste recovery and entomology experience, who are some of the most talented people in the field.
